Island Park - On Saturday, April 2 The Long Beach Waterfront Warriors held their first fundraiser at The Hub Billiard Club in Island Park. The event was a great success, as owner Brad Turner enthusiastically welcomed the Warriors to the family-friendly, renovated club, now in its second year under his ownership.
The Big Kahuna once again donated his music and karaoke services and had many of the young people at the event singing, clapping and joining in. Michael's Amusements donated the use of their arcade space above The Hub.
The event included a food donated by Panchos Cantina, a 50-50 raffle, Waterfront Warrior apparel sale, photos, and lots of pool, ping pong and family fun. Thank you to all who attended and donated their time, money, food and space!
